Description

Each year we grow a giant garden of our favorite vegetables. Most of our favorite vegetables are old time varieties that people currently call "Heirloom". It is with great pleasure that we offer up our favorites for you.

Pepper Description:

The Peach Jolokia pepper is a rare color variant of the Bhut Jolokia, a naturally occurring inter-specific hybrid chile pepper (or chili pepper) recently discovered in Bangladesh and parts of northeastern India. The pepper was only recently discovered within the past decade and, in 2007, the Guinness Book of World Records declared it the world's hottest chile pepper (or chili pepper) with a Scoville rating of over one million units. Nearly twice as hot as the former record holder, the Red Savina Habanero, and about 100 times hotter than the jalapeño, the Bhut Jolokia delivers a punishing, scorching heat that few can tolerate. The Peach Jolokia is on the lower end of the Jolokia heat range at about 400,000 Scoville units. Plant produces huge yields hot peppers. Peppers are very hot and turn from green to peach when mature. Very unique and colorful, the tall plants are just covered with fruit.
