Our favorite bean to can for Winter is the yellow wax. We've grown a lot of varieties over the years, and it's been hard to find any better varieties than Goldmine. It's the only yellow wax bean we now grow.

Plants are uniform, bushy and produce two excellent flushes of beans. We like to cultivate next to the plants and "Hill" them lightly to keep them upright. They do not need staked.
