The pepper's legacy is celebrated every August during the famous Arnoia Pepper Festival on the Boulevard of Quexeira, where thousands gather to consume upwards of 10 tons of the crop. Often served stuffed, roasted, or fried, these peppers are traditionally paired with local wines, honoring the region’s dual reputation for exceptional produce and viticulture.
